This is most probably a multipart file posting.
Look at the advice below for downloading multipart messages.
Alternatively, it may be posting encoded using the yEnc system.
Unfortunately, Netscape does not currently handle multi-part messages internally, but there is a way to make them work in conjunction with another program like WinZip.
First, highlight all parts of the multi-part message by clicking on them with the shift button held down. Then right click on them, and select Save Message. Save the file with whatever name you like, but make sure that you replace the default .txt ending with .uue extension.
You can now open the .uue file in WinZip or a similar program, which will convert it to a useable file.
Go to Group > Default properties > Receive files and make sure you have the following checked:
If these are selected, Agent will display a multipart message as a single
icon. When you select it, Agent will download each part and combine them
together ready for you to save.
If Agent can't work out that a series of messages should be combined, you use
the Message > Join sections command to get them to appear as a single
item.
Newzbot monitors free news servers, or use an internet search engine like AltaVista to find one; but be aware that not all servers will carry ABF.
The following servers have been previously recommended on ABF:
Or, if you can live without multipart messages, try a web-based news service like the Italian GlobalNews.

yEnc is a new encoding system, created as an alternative to UUEncode.
So far, not all newsgroup software supports yEnc.
